Sustainable, energy-efficient development
Het Nieuwe Water takes a multifaceted approach to sustainability. Consider multiple functionality for a single space, for example: the waterways that serve as water storage simultaneously enhance quality of life in the Westland region.
At the same time, Het Nieuwe Water is a truly green project, focused on energy-efficient development using sustainable methods. For example, we are investigating whether energy can be extracted from the surrounding greenhouses to warm and cool our homes.
We are also looking for ways to enhance residential comfort with domotica: intelligent, innovative techniques. The use of domotica leads to an increase in ease of use, safety and comfort within our homes while actually reducing their energy consumption.
